Wearing the proper undergarments is so important to be both fashionable and classy. A strapless dress requires a strapless bra. A sheer shirt requires an undershirt, cami or black or tan colored bra. Not wearing proper undergarments can throw any outfit off – and takes attention away from the clothing you have on! Be sure to have a proper collection of slips, hosiery, bras, and shapewear that way you are prepared for any occasion!<\/p>\n

My style is simple and elegant so I try not to complicate my outfits. I will sometimes go off the tangent completely with an extremely edgy piece but there is always a base piece that makes the outfit me.<\/p>\n

When you put together outfits, despite the influence of trends, let the look define your style. It could be the accessories that remain constant and wearable with all pieces or a signature statement like your hair. You know it’s your style when someone sees a piece and exclaims, That is so you! Be aware of the occasion and time for which you are dressing so that you are appropriately dressed. Forget the dress code feel free to play with boundaries in small ways, use unconventional items as accessories and mix expensive items with inexpensive ones.<\/p>\n

I recommend that people look carefully at the quality of the fabrics, cut and construction when they choose clothing. These factors come above all else – don’t be sidetracked by brand names or trends. If a garment is poorly made, it won’t fit well on your body or last long – it’ll start to sag or come apart. In my opinion, these “fast fashion” purchases are never worth it in the long run. If you invest in a high quality and timeless piece, it’ll continue to “spark joy” (as Japan’s Marie Kondo would put it) for years to come.<\/p>\n
